Because the little bit of red underneath the rich stone gray is the epitome of warmth...

Oh my word it has been so long since I've been on.
After having found out that my blog was hacked (thank you Mamma for telling me!) I immediately got on it and fixed the situation. Gosh, why have I neglected this for over a week? No more I say.
Today has been long as all Wednesdays are because I am on my feet for 10 hours. My feet hurt and I'm already in pajamas for bed but there's nothing better than sitting on the couch watching our favorite tv shows.
Did I mention we were really bad and didn't cook the salmon we had but got a frozen pizza instead?
These are the good times even if every bone in my body aches. Such is life....
Happy Wednesday, lovelies!

Michelle Williams is playing the iconic Marilyn Monroe in "My Week With Marilyn" which has started filming in England.
So stunning... I'm enjoying every bit of this ladylike trend we're having right now. Nipped in waists, full skirts, red lips and matte makeup.

Don't you just love the colors of fall? I'm currently obsessed with burnt orange and antique-y bronze shades. So rich and luxurious! At the mall last weekend we purchased an oil to go in our lamp ring which I prefer to candles. Don't get me wrong, I have a candle obsession that can never be beat but if I want a smell to permeate quickly I choose an oil. Bath and Body Works was having a great sale on candles {2 large for $20} but I was still reluctant to spend that much. If I'm dropping money on candles it for Tyler candles hands down. All of that jargon to say, we bought the scent Leaves. Oh my word our house smells so scrumptious! Please please take a moment if you have a B&BW to take a whiff

Our weekend has been quite tame with spending most of our time in front of the tv watching Netflix movies.
Our close friend Holli was supposed to visit but unfortunately some things came up last minute and she was unable to make it. Boo on that but she promises to visit soon. Yay!
We also had a bit of a set back concerning those pesky tax issues from a while back. Just when we feel redeemed something else comes up. Uggh. I'm so ready for it to be over with.
Moving on to other subjects.... last weekend we saw the movie "Life As We Know It" with Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhmel. Definitely something to go catch in theaters if you can! Because of that movie I was inspired by some very cute kids items and photos. A post on that soon.
Well I hope that you've had a splendid weekend filled with apple cider and falling leaves.
Have a lovely day...

Happy cozy Saturday morning to you all.
I'm currently writing this as I'm sitting in bed next to hubby. I slept in today like I haven't in weeks, possibly months. 10:49. When I was younger, even just a few years ago, that was purely normal but I've somehow outgrown that. With us getting up early every morning my body just wakes up on its own. I think it also has to do with my not wanting to waste the day. Even now I feel a bit of remorse for not taking time to make a breakfast that didn't have to take less than 5 minutes or picking up around the house. That must be why I chose those scrumptious photos.

This past week we were informed that Adam's two grandfathers don't have much time left and that we should visit Louisiana soon. His Papaw (father's father) has had many heart problems as of late. His pace maker failed and was put into the hospital for surgery. Though everything came out positively he is still experiencing many problems. His other grandfather, Bronco (isn't that the most wonderful nickname?), has been in a nursing home for over a year. He has recently gone into a coma from what we've been told and isn't expected to wake. In lieu of all the sad news we have decided to make a trip next weekend to visit these handsome men. I have yet to visit Louisiana since meeting Adam and can't wait to experience his world.
Hopefully we'll brighten his Papaw's world and get to spend sweet time with his family.
Off to make something to eat, those pictures are making me hungry!
Have a lovely day....
