Hello everyone! Long time no see, I know.
First off I would like to say a very excited Happy 24th Birthday to my amazing brother, Josh...or as I like to call him, Esh. I love you so very much and couldn't ask for a better person to help me throughout life. You are a spectacular person and an absolute blessing to me!
I have lots of posts that I plan on putting up every day this week and will be getting back on the blogging wagon. Currently I'm watching the SAG awards while hubby does that whole school thing and thought to make a quick update.

Though our weekend didn't go as planned with car troubles (yes, again) we've still had a lovely time being together. I hope to post a few photos of my new obsession with pureeing as well as some of our home.
Have a lovely Sunday evening!
I'll talk to you soon...

We had quite an eventful weekend helping friends move in and I've posted all of the photos on my facebook.
The day was dreary and nothing was pretty enough to post on here so I hope we're friends on fb so you can view them if you like.
Oh I must mention that I bought a new pair of tennies over the weekend which has been a long overdue purchase. As I work at a Physical Therapy Clinic everyday I am on my feet without sitting down for hours at a time, some days 10 hours. In an effort to look cute I wore flats rather than the recommended tennis shoes and lots of people gave me a hard time for it.
In walking into an athletic shoe store we sprung for a pair on sale  that I could wear to work and work out in.
Funnily enough when I walked in on Monday morning everyone had a comment and was shocked that I gave in. (I'm a stubborn one, I'll admit!) No really, I don't think you understand how all of my co-workers reacted...lots and lots of comments and compliments.
So if you can't tell my life has a lack of excitement but things will be getting crazier soon enough.
With that said I hope you all have a wonderful night!

I'll talk to you soon...

Being the girl that I am I find myself always looking around at what people are wearing, how they do their hair, their makeup and I place special attention on their purse.
No I'm not thinking of ways to rob them if that's what you're getting at....
A woman's purse is her own private world. I'll find my husband weary to fetch something from my purse if he needs my wallet in fear of what he might find. Or maybe he's worried that he's invading my privacy....which he never would be of course...but you get the point. Funny, isn't it?
Well I'm fascinated by what ladies carry in their bag which is why I love to look at the photos on flickr and view videos on youtube centered around "What's In My Purse".
While reading one of my favorite blogs I came upon her post appropriately titled, "What's In My Bag".
I thought I'd share the photos and how elegant the world she carries around with her is. I find loose change and Starbucks straw wrappers floating around in mine (please tell me I'm not alone).
Here's my inspiration for a neater purse and prettier belongings.

Have a lovely evening...I'll talk to you soon!

Last night we were met with flurries falling quickly as the sun went down followed by even heavier ones into the wee hours of the morning.

I was wishing with all of my might that work would close on account of the weather so I could have a day off. Selfish wishes I know but last week wasn't my favorite and I needed a break. I called work and was told by voice mail that our clinic was closed for the day. (Hallelujah chorus inserted here) I hung up the phone, closed my eyes and rolled over... today I can rest.

Today was the first day for Adam for start his internship which he's been looking forward to. Not sure as to whether or not they would be open he called and e-mailed with no answer.
For the past couple of weeks we've purchased a few new dress shirts, a couple of  ties and a handsome pair of shoes. Now he's got a whole new wardrobe and looks better than ever. I wish I'd taken a picture!
He rushed to get ready in the chance that they were open and drove downtown. With no luck the marshall's wouldn't let him in as he didn't have a badge or key (those were the two items he would be given on his first day) so he left and came back home. I must say I'm glad they weren't answering their phones because I got him all to myself today.

We lazed around for a while then got ready to see "Country Strong". Gweneth Paltrow did a great job as did my Gossip Girl favorite Leighton Meester. The two of us found ourselves singing the songs from the film after leaving the theater. I would definitely recommend it if you're in the mood for a drama and catchy songs. (I also loved that multiple scenes took place in Nashville.)

With whatever weather you've had I hope your day has been wonderful. I know it's Monday but at least it's another start, right? Have a lovely evening....I'll talk to you soon.

Well hello and a Happy New Year to you!
Can you believe we're already in 2011? The past year has flown by and I'm not sure where it went.
Our New Year's Eve was fun as we spent it with our closest Memphis friends at our friend Zack's house.
We played Catch Phrase for at least 3 hours, if not 4, and had a blast. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time which makes me think what better way to ring in 2011 but with laughter.
Now before I get ahead of myself I wanted to post a few pictures of our Christmas. For some reason I didn't take but one  picture of my family's celebrations though I did get some from Adam's side. (If my mom has some posted soonish I'll steal them from her and post them on mine :) )

As far as I can recall I don't believe I've ever had a white Christmas...maybe once? To my utter delight and sheer excitement we woke up that morning with glorious snow falling all around us! Not only did it snow on the 25th but it continued to snow the entire following day.
Above is my parent's home with the pretty dusting of snow and below is the most handsome man I know clearing off the car as I sit cozily inside. Thank you, love!
And another photo of this hunk of burnin' love. Oh my word he's gonna kill me if he sees this!

Here is the Davis side of things, they have blessed me immensely...they raised the man I love!
Above is Joe, my father-in-law, fixing the new suit they bought for Adam tailor fit and all as his 25th birthday present. Below is my mother-in-law Barbara and her mother JoAnne who we affectionately call Mamaw!

Our time spent for those few days was wonderful not to mention the numerous gifts we received were amazing! I received lots of gorgeous clothes, makeup, jewelery, gift cards, money and one kick butt food processor! Adam got a gift which has seemingly taken over our lives....but in a good way....the Kindle. Oh yes he's read 4 or 5 books in just over a week. That e-reader goes with us everywhere but it's nice because he bought me a book and the scrabble application :).

I apologize for the lack of updates but it's a new year! Another to follow verrrry soon.
